About the event
Trade the everyday world for an afternoon Beyond the Reef, where exotica, surf music, tiki drinks, and vintage beach-party energy collide.
Queen Jane Music Studios will be transformed into a fully tropical escape, with live music fromAnimala , Tiki Men , and Velvet Stingrays , beach movies playing throughout the space, themed photo ops, leis, and plenty of delightfully over-the-top island atmosphere. The Lava Lounge will also be serving tropical drinks with help from a special guest bartender.

Velvet Stingrays — 7:15pm
Come dressed for the beach, the tiki lounge, the surf-rock stage, or whatever strange little island exists in your imagination. Hawaiian shirts, vintage resort wear, sunglasses, floral prints, and general tropical fabulousness are encouraged but never required.
Settle in for the music, explore the space, grab a drink, take some photos, and spend the afternoon somewhere just beyond the reef.
